About Max

Meet Max. He is a 1.5 years old Border Collie/Cattledog mix. He weighs about 40 pounds. Max is crate trained and runs right in on command. He is a smart boy and ready to learn the basics. Max loves to fetch. He also likes to play with toys. He will be a fun dog for someone who knows how to keep a puppy busy so they don't chew on things if bored and left alone for long. Letting Max is like winding up a Jack in the Box. He gets very happy and will jump up to give a kiss or little love nip. It's just how this breed says, 'I love you!' Max's foster is working on teaching him not to jump up on people! Max may take just a moment to warm up to new people. He recently met his foster's dad and he came up for petting after being allowed to make his own introduction. Max wants to be pals. Max is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. We do not ship our dogs. He is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
