OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi there! My name is Inky and I am a sweet lovable little girl who had a rough start to life and didn't get the love that I needed as a small puppy. But now that I am learning that people aren't so scary, I have become a trusting girl with lots of love to give! People may overlook me because I get a little nervous around new people, and don't like to be held if I don't know you. But with some time and TLC, I am becoming a brave little thing, even helping my brother, Sheldon come out of his shell! I am still a puppy so I'm working on my house manners, but I've gotten really good at using the puppy pads, and I sleep all night in my crate without making a peep or an accident! I get so excited when my humans come home from work that my entire body wags along with my tail! I love belly rubs, chasing junebugs around the yard, playing with my brother, and giving kisses! I'm getting used to my leash and starting to love going on walks so I can smell all of the flowers around me! Now that I'm building up my confidence, I've become your typical little curious and playful puppy! I love being around other dogs who will play with me--my favorite thing is running zoomies around the yard so that the other dogs (big and small) chase after me! It would be great if I can find a loving home that can take my brother Sheldon and I together, since we make such a great pair and we love each other so much! But any house with other dogs or humans that have the time to help me get acclimated to the world and will help bring my adorable personality out will make me the happiest little girl! Inky is a female Terrier/Poodle Mix and is estimated to be 19 weeks as of 7/5/18. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
