Bowie came to us as a rescue. She was found in Monterey running along the freeway and a foster family brought her in. We found her in December and brought her home. She is great with our older male German Shepard. The problem we have with her is she is still very much a runner and we live on a road where cars go a minimum of 60 mph and she has been close to being hit a few times with my kids trying to run after her. Now that she has figured out that freedom, she keeps trying to get back out. I can't risk her life or my kids with her Houdini tricks and our fence has already been reinforced. She is crate trained and is a sweet tempered girl. The vet isn't sure what she is mixed with other than husky. One thinks Australian Shepard, one thinks some pit bull. We are working on sit and stay with her. If she is given a chance, she will cuddle on a bed or a couch believing she is a lap dog. She goes to comfort my boys all the time. Please help us find this sweet girl a home before we have to take her to the shelter. She is also microchipped.
