About Missy

Missy is a 5-year-old Catahoula mix. She was found abandoned with her puppies and a Good Samaritan contacted us about helping this little family so they would not end up at the shelter or in the wrong hands. Catahoulas are a working breed of dog and extremely intelligent. As such she will need an active home that can provide both physical as well as mental stimulation for her. A home with a large, fenced in yard would be ideal for Missy so she can get her daily exercise. She would also do better in a home with older children. If you like to hike and be adventurous, Missy would like to meet you. We are a foster-based rescue and all of our dogs are in loving homes where we can learn about each one's unique personality. Knowing that helps us to best match up the dogs with their new homes.
