About Bear

Bear is a 3 - 4 year old Border Collie mix who came to the rescue as a stray that was going to be dropped off at the shelter. Bear is an all-around friendly guy who loves to play with both people and other dogs. He is curious about cats so a home without cats may be the best thing for him as he may chase them. Bear is quite agile and will need at least a 6ft wood fence or vigorous, frequent long walks if kept indoors. The border collie is a working dog by nature and thrives on activity. We are a foster-based rescue and all of our dogs are in loving homes where we can learn each one's unique behavior. Knowing this helps us to best match up the dogs with their forever homes.
