About Mongo

Meet Mongo, our Maine Coon mix in small cat's clothing. We need to rehome him due to our daughter's severe allergies. He is a handsome gray with amazingly bright white belly and socks and fluffy gray tail. He has light green eyes and white 'eyebrows' too! Mongo's an adult and mostly a mellow guy, wanting nothing more than to sniff your hand or a nice neck or tummy rub. He enjoys snuggling with shoes or feet or feet in shoes. He does go outside rarely (we let him on our balcony) but really he is a homebody and not interested in wandering anywhere. He will sleep on the floor (when youre around) and then snuggle right smack in the middle of your bed when he thinks you left! He likes to chase laser lights and because his paws are tufted he will amuse you endlessly by running and then sliding right into things because he loses traction! Luckily he has silky soft fur for protection. One thing he doesnt like much is being picked up, until he gets reallll famililiar with you, at least. He loves to eat wet food a few times a week and dry kibble daily. He loves his water running and fresh. We will provide you with his water fountain/filters. He is not hard to groom, youll be given his nail nippers and brush as well as cat shampoo. Wont you drop by, say hi and see if Mongo can be your fur-ever friend?
