About Scout

This is scout. Sadly, things did not work out in the home for Scout ���� they tried their hardest but at the end of the day, we realize that Scout needs a very special home ��%8F� Scout is a young (2yo) Plot Hound. She learned so much in the home like to sit, signal to go out and learned basic manners. She is extremely smart and knows how to climb chain link fences and open gates-so a home with a wooden fence or electric fence would be best ��%90 While scout loves to play with other dogs, she was not taught dog body language growing up. So she does not understand when dogs want to stop playing, and can get very defensive. She would do best in a home with no other dogs, but that can keep her exercised properly ��%8F���%8F%BDA trainer worked with scout and said eventually with work she could have a sibling, but she needs to learn basic dog codes and behaviors before she is confident around other dogs. We will be happy to discuss the trainers notes with any possible adopters. Scout is very loving and bonds very easily with people. She was in a home with kids 12 and over and did fabulous with them.
