I don't want to talk too much about my past, but I was used as a charro horse and they were mean to me. But I remained as sweet as pie, obeying willingly as they used my body until I could barely walk. It has been 8 months at my new place and sadly the lady who helped me can no longer keep me. Her home is in a short sale; she is moving to Oregon and can not take me with her. I am pretty sad about that but I am sure someone as nice as her will come along and love me. I am such a good boy, I don't do anything wrong. I will follow you around like a puppy, just wanting attention. I have been on the trail but sometimes new things are a little scary to me. Other than that I am very calm and have had a lot of training and handling. I am healthily but I am not completely sound. After years of abuse, I have some arthritis and a navicular condition in my right front foot. I am sound at the walk but it hurts to trot, so I am looking for a person who is seeking a companion horse, since I get along with everyone and anything. I am sure that if someone falls in love with me and wants to help me become sound, I am pretty sure I can be healed enough to do some light riding with you. But it will take a while and I will need some patience during my rehabilitation. I think I would be a great therapy horse since I am very sensitive to feelings and give cuddles. I am good with kids, dogs, chickens, goats, and want to be loved. Could you be the one that will fall in love with me?
