About Wonton

Wonton just came to us from a rural shelter. He came in with another dog that he lived with. He is a really cute guy with short legs! Wonton is still settling into is foster home. He is willing to learn and with time and patients he should blossom into a well balanced dog. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all volunteer, foster based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, Va every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dentals and major surgeries.
