About Bronx

BRONX, 12 months old, 55 lbs, Jonestown PA This handsome puppy boy is Bronx and he is available for adoption! A volunteer writes: I admit to being obsessed with puppy Bronx. We had three dates in one day (not even speed dating!) and each time I fell more in love. Surrendered by his family of 2 adults, 5 kids, and 1 cat as they moved where he is not welcome, puppy Bronx is trying to figure out how and why his world is upside down. We're told he was gentle, relaxed and playful with all the kids, especially the 2 year old, and as Bronx and I were sitting in the yard a bunch of kids were yelling in the street and he perked up at the sound of kids voices. Bronx played gently with his cat friend, is friendly to all, doesn't guard his things and is energetic. Bronx has been shy in this new environment, but the more we got to know one another the more he wagged his tail at me, and by our third date was laying his head on my lap as he stretched out next to me on the bench. He enjoys treats, taking them gently, nom nom noming them sweetly. In his first playgroup with both boys and girls he was initially tense and then offered play bows to the female and engages in running play with both. I can't wait to spend time with Bronx, but mostly I wish for puppy Bronx to find his new family quickly. He's gorgeous, gentle, shy and so very sweet. I'm in love and you will be too. So, put your sneakers away at home, and make Bronx yours! Due to his initial fearfulness we recommend placement in a family without small children (over 10 years old). Bronx has done well in playgroups with other dogs and has previously lived with a cat. Bronx is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped.
