These dogs have lived outside in an area where they were chained up with a 2ft chain. They had access to water and food. Maya has been bred several times. Their owner and his wife divorced and he could not take them. He was just going to leave them there and come and feed them every two days. We decided to take them in and try to find new homes for them. They can be separated. Savannah is settling in. She is still skittish of men, but is warming up. She gets along well with females and children. We have had her 4 2 weeks now. She is getting more comfortable. She gets along with the other dogs we have. She is curious about the cats, but leaves them alone. She had a rabies shot and next weekend (June 2) she will be treated for heartworm at the vet. You will just need to give her the monthly heartworm chew. Her spay appointment is June 18th. She is being spayed via a grant from Planned Pethood. We really would like for Savannah to be an inside/outside dog with a fenced in yard. We have a 14 and 15 year old so we aren't sure how she would be with younger kids. We have been bitten several times now with potential adopters. Please if you are truly interested, please contact me. If you are not interested or want to chain her up, please move on.
