About Kota

Kota is a five year old mixed breed female dog. We adopted her as a puppy and have worked hard to gain her trust and love. She has always been very skiddish and standoffish. It took her many months to come around with my husband. She has a big fear of men. We believe she was abused as a small puppy. She is losing sight in her left eye. Since having a child, her unpredictability is no longer acceptable as she's become aggressive multiple times not only with our child, but our other dogs as well. With this unpredictability, we have no option but to rehome her to give her the best shot at life because we can no longer take the risk of her nature around our child and other dogs. She's extremely easy, loving and likes to just lay around all day. She would be best suited in a home where she is the only animal and a home that does not have small children present. We are asking a fee to ensure she goes to a great home. She is completely vetted over the last 5 years and is current on everything as of this year. We would love to see her either with a retired couple or an older couple due to the ease of her. She would do well in apartments or any home as she is fairly lazy. She would be content laying around all day with love from her owner. She is a big snuggle bug. We feel we have provided a wonderful life for her and it has been a very hard decision to come to, however we feel it is necessary and urgent.
