About Bailey

Bailey is a very sweet, playful dog with a gentle temperment and very loving disposition. She is very loyal and wants nothing more than to show her family love and affection. She is young and has plenty of energy but she is known for her 'power naps.' If you recognize Bailey from a previous listing, she has been on here before because my daughter has been desperately trying to keep her and she has now realized that is just not a realistic option given her work hours and now off to college. It's been a tough coming to terms for her and so she is the one who will be choosing the new forever home for the dog she loves so dearly. Baily was a rescue about 2 1/2 years ago so we don't think she's much older than that. She is a Beabull, part Beagle and part American Bulldog. She's a beautiful dog with the best characteristics of both. She's incredibly FAST and loves to run! My daughter takes her to the local dog park and she is small (20 lbs) but 'runs with the big dogs' and holds her own! Great personality! Has the beagle hunting inclination but she's not necessarily got the wit - so we say she gets by on her looks LOL! She does have seperation anxiety so ideally she would go to a home with another dog to have a buddy or a stay-at-home mom or work-at-home family member or retired couple. Anyone who spends plenty of time around the house so she could get time and attention. She will assure you never are lonely! She is well-socialized with dogs, older children and adults. Not sure about cats or young children. She has never shown any aggression toward anyone or anything but has not had experience so I cannot speak to those specifically. She is potty trained but does spend longer hours alone than she should currently so I believe she will require some retraining. She also may need some boosters. She will be rehomed with a nearly new crate and any toys, accessories, blankets, remaining food, etc. that is remaining. My daughter would like to stay in touch with her new family. Bailey has meant the world to her so if you have been a pet lover, you know what giving up your 'baby' is like and can surely understand how traumatic this will be for both of them.
