About Mikey

Mikey is a handsome German Shepherd mix born in September of 2016. This happy go lucky boy is already house and crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash and knows basic commands! Mikey gets along well with other well mannered dogs and enjoys romping around. Mikey is also good with dog savvy cats and has been known to snuggle with our resident Dennis cat. Due to an old injury, Mikey had to undergo double FHO (femoral head ostectomy) to allow him to live a pain free life. As a result, Mikey has a bit of hitch to his giddy-up but is and will remain pain free. We think it just gives him more a character and makes him simply unforgettable! It sure doesn't bother him or his dog friends. Mikey is just a big love that has been waiting a couple of years to get a home full of love that he so deserves.
