About Jasper

Jasper is a vivacious, friendly and beautiful boy who is approximately 2 years-old and weighs 60 pounds. He has the most beautiful eyes with one being blue and one gold! He's been introduced to people as young as 6 years-old up to 70 years-old and he LOVES them all! He doesn't realize his size and thinks he's a 'lap dog!' His favorite spot is on the couch either on or beside his human! He enjoys getting pets and being hugged. Jasper loves to go on long walks. Jasper currently lives with a large pack of dogs that range in size; however, dog introductions were slow and occurred over three weeks. He loves to chase small animals (cats, lizards, birds and bunnies) so he may do better with medium to large sized female dogs. Jasper is looking for a forever human who is an experienced dog owner and has the time & knowledge of basic obedience. He has attended two private training lessons with Fusion K9 Solutions and is a quick learner as long as you have treats! However he will need continued training as he gets very worked up when passing other dogs on his walks, counter surfs and jumps up on people when excited. Jasper has been neutered, received a DHPP vaccine, rabies vaccine and is microchipped. He is potty trained and will enter a crate with a treat and coaxing!
