#A5163210 Carmel is an endearing 2-year-old fawn-with-white female Pit Bull mix who was found as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on March 31st. Weighing 46 lbs, this sweet charmer is overwhelmed in the shelter environment, but once she is out of her kennel in a play area, she comes to life! She walks politely on leash and shows signs of being housebroken. She loves to be pet and to be talked to, and will be a great companion for cuddling. We also know she will be an awesome sidekick to join you on outdoor adventures, whether laid-back strolls around the neighborhood or more strenuous hikes. Carmel passed her shelter-administered temperament test, and she literally lights up when she sees another dog. She loves being part of our shelter's doggy playgroups, and we think would love to be part of a multi-dog home. Carmel is going to be a fantastic addition to a loving home looking for a medium-size lovebug to make a permanent part of the family.
