About APOLLO

#A5171164 Apollo is a home-run 1-year-old white-with grey male Pit Bull and American Bulldog mix who was picked up as a stray in El Monte and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on April 23rd. Weighing 70 lbs, Apollo is a peppy, happy fellow with a giant grin. His signature move is staring longingly into your eyes for ten or fifteen long seconds and then--slurp!--giving you a kiss. He likes to be close to his human, but also enjoys getting out and doing stuff: walks, hikes, or other adventures are all right up his alley. Apollo shows signs of being housebroken, but we don't think he has had much training otherwise, so his adopter should plan to do some basic obedience work with him. Apollo wants to play with other dogs he meets. He aced his shelter-administered temperament test. Apollo will be a fun and affectionate best friend to an active person or family who will spend plenty of time with him.
