About Sugar

Sugar's elderly owner passed away and she was sent to a shelter by his family we adopted her and she was perfect in the house with our 9 year old daughter, our cat and 2 small dogs but when she went outside it was like she was trying to find her old owner. Within 5 minutes she was out of the fence or off the leash and running for her life. We gave her to a friend because she really liked the older husband but they had no fence and walked her on a leash. Today she got off again and thankfully is microchipped, this time the owner gave up so the shelter called us. She would do best with an middle age to older man or couple with a VERY secure high fence or someone who will walk her on a harness not a leash and have control of her. She is a very loving and House-trained dog she just needs to be watched closely when outside. She's a full-bloodeded red and white husky with beautiful blue eyes and is at the St Tammany Humane Society in Covington La as of today. 20384 Harrison Ave Covington, La Covington, LA 70433.
