About I LOVE LUCY!!!!

I'm LUCY, a 3 year old, 13 lb., female Chihuahua mix. See my underbite? Not sure where that comes from but people fall over when they see it. It's my signature feature! Here's my story: I got a rough start in life. Humans weren't nice to me, so I was a little shy when I met people. But now I'm super happy to be with people who are kind and -- Voila! -- here's the new Lucy! I love to be touched gently now, plus I love, love, love to play with other dogs. (They're my peeps. Not sure about cats or kids yet, though.) I love to play with toys, too, and I'm potty trained and know how to use the doggie door. (If you have one. If not, no biggie.) I say I don't like my crate, but once I'm in there, I crash, so it can't be that bad. Because of my underbite, I stick my tongue out a lot, but don't take it personally...it's not aimed at you. It's just my tongue doing its own freestylin'. I like learning new things including posing like a wallaby (a small kangaroo) for yummie treats. Oh. And I love to snuggle next to humans and other dogs. I'm just a snuggler. Anyway, if you're looking for a conversation starter like me and are kind and patient, come get me! I'm LUCY!
