About Meggie

Meggie is a year and a half old. She is a purebred American English Coonhound, but that wasn't an option. She was purchased by my mother to fill the void after she lost her old dog. Meggie is not fully house broken, and still has a good amount of energy. She needs to be watched and worked with and my mother wants nothing to do with her now. She is now living with me in a VERY small basement apartment. She has almost no room to roam and do what this breed does, explore and sniff. She is a love and will fall asleep in bed and snuggle you all night long. She does become whiny when she is tired and doesn't want to go to sleep. She lacks basic house manors and is very stubborn at times. She has lived with another larger dog, and she tends to chase smaller dogs. She wants to play with cats, but becomes very excited when they run away. She loves children and all the attention she gets from them.
