About Yaya

Yaya is a 3-legged dog. She is missing her right front leg, but this does not slow her down much and she can do pretty much everything that any other dog can do. Yaya was originally adopted from a large shelter to some people who didn't really care about her. They kept letting her out of the yard and she kept getting picked up by animal control This last time her owners didn't come to get her, so we saved her from the pound. Yaya is a Husky/shepherd mix around 1-1/2 years old and currently weighs 47 pounds. Yaya is an absolutely wonderful dog. She is house trained and otherwise good in the house. She doesn't like being crated, but she can be trusted when left unattended in the house. Yaya knows how to sit and comes when she is called (sometimes - LOL). She knows how to walk on a leash and loves to ride in the vehicle. Yaya is very active in the yard, she loves to run, play and wrestle with other dogs. She does loose her balance and falls down sometimes. Yaya is very sweet, loving and gentle. She will crawl up on the couch with you and curl up in your lap. Did I say this was a wonderful dog? Yaya must be an indoor dog and a loved member of the family. She must have a fenced yard to run and play. She would do best with an equally good natured and active canine playmate. Yaya is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Yaya has a $150.00 adoption fee.
