About Tasso

At just 4 months old, this little guy is quite the survivor and an advocate of the breed. His resilience is outstanding. We apologize if it provokes anger, disappointment in humanity, and sadness, but his story is one that must be told. He needs to show the world that EVIL NEVER WINS. We were contacted by a local vet because the owner of Tasso arrived at the clinic presenting extensive abuse to this BABY. It was determined after examination and X-rays that he had a broken jaw caused by repeated kicking to the mouth and head. His tongue is also split, with a piece missing. Otherwise he is a very healthy boy! The owners were forced to surrender him and will face consequences for their actions. Thanks to a team of compassionate vet techs and our wonderful vet, Dr. Cortney, Tasso was immediately transported and hospitalized. Tasso had extensive jaw surgery and has to remain at the vet for at least a month, followed by months of rehabilitation. He needs special foods and is on pain meds and antibiotics. THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN!! The estimated expense for our sweet boy is totaled at $2,000. We've got to come through for him. He wants to play with other dogs, cuddle and kiss humans and is eating! He is all wags and his ears are the BEST! They stick straight up and fold over together!!
