About Rodger

Rodger is an amazing, 6 month old Cattle Dog mix puppy looking for his new home. He is a happy goofball who loves to run and play but also enjoys a good belly rub!! He's the perfect companion for a hike in the desert, followed by some good tv watching on the couch (with popcorn of course!). He has started basic obedience training. He's a fast learner who is very eager to learn. He's working on being crate-trained, and is fully housebroken. He is used to a dog door but could adjust to not having one. He is great on a leash and rides well in the car. He'd make a great companion for someone who loves hiking and the outdoors. He loves to run around the yard. He also has a Kong-ball and a tire he's loved to chew on. Rodger is good with kids, but they should be older due to his size, strength, and desire to play. He will do best in an active home. He's also a big snuggler and would love to be a lap/couch/bed dog! Unfortunately, Rodger is a bit jealous with other dogs, so he will need to be the only dog in the home or may do well with a large playful dominant female (dog intro required). Last weigh in he weighed 54lbs. He has not yet been cat-tested. Rodger will make a very loving and loyal companion to a family who gives him the time, training, and patience he needs. Rodger will need a home with a yard, NO apartments due to his size and energy please. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, chipped, vet checked, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit also. His adoption fee is $80.
