About Relina

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi Fam, My name is Relina (or Lina, for short), and I am dying to be your pup! At first, you'll fall in love with my floppy ears and cute face, but I am more than just a pretty girl! I am also one of the sweetest, most playful pups you'll ever meet! A typical day for me usually goes as follows - first I'll run around and wrestle with my puppy brother, Grady, or my big foster brother Labrad or for about 30 minutes (I get along great with all dogs). If any humans happen to be nearby, I'll be sure to occasionally run over to them to shower them with puppy kisses. After my play session, I get very tired, so I'll go for a long snooze, ideally in your lap, but if you aren't available, I'll settle with the floor. Once I'm rested, I'll start all over again! I also get along with my foster brother Cat, and I'm sure I'll love kids too! I'm also very well behaved for a puppy! I'm perfectly content going in the crate while my foster humans are at work, and I sleep through the night in the crate without any crying! I don't really like to bite or chew things I'm not supposed to, which my foster mama says is a good thing! I know that I'm not supposed to go to the bathroom inside, but I occasionally have some accidents, especially if I'm inside for a long time. I'm told that I'm doing better with potty training than most puppies my age, though! I'm a sweet, playful dog who would love to be your pup! I would do great with other animals at home, but it's not necessary as long as you have the time to play with me! One requirement, though, is a family that has lots of laps for me to cuddle on! Get your applications in fast, because these Relina kisses are in high demand! Relina is a female, boxer/lab mix estimated to be born around 2/11/18. She currently weighs 16 lbs PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
