About Otis

Houston, TX Otis is an old soul...an easy going big guy that wants to finish his days laying his head on your lap napping on the couch. At night he loves sleeping against you under the covers. Occasionally he gets a little warm and comes out. He doesn't like the cold at all! He gets the shivers when the temperature gets below 66 degrees and then he'll need a blanket. He's potty trained for the most part; his foster dad says he has an accident about twice a month. Otis is leashed trained, but his foster dad only leashes him when they go to the vet. Outside he won't run off, always staying close to his foster dad. Good with other dogs, Otis is untested with cats. Ok with a pet bird, but will eat a wild bird if given the chance. Only problem he has is licking, he licks his paws at times until their raw and bleeding. Not sure why he does so I keep an eye out for it. Other than that he just needs a low key type of environment with not to much action going on. If you're looking for a sweet, mellow guy to keep you company, Otis is definitely your Dane!
