About Grayson - MA

Adoption Fee: $400
Catahoula mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

A handsome young Floridian man with a mysterious background, Grayson has stolen the hearts of all those he's met on his journey to New England with his easy going demeanor and puppy dog looks. He's an old soul at just over a year old who loves to go for a morning stroll, cuddle on the couch, lay in the sun, and even snuggle in bed with you at night. At 92 pounds, he doesn't take up as much room as you'd think and when he curls up and lays his head on your leg it's hard to say no. Grayson loves meeting new people and dogs with proper introductions. He even likes cats! His droopy face and dopey personality make him very hard to resist and he is sure to make his new family laugh and smile for many years to come. Grayson is just about as perfect as they get but no one is perfect without a little imperfection. Grayson can guard his food and toys, so this is something to be worked on. His new family needs to have patience, understanding and be willing to do some training to manage this behavior. If you are interested in adopting Grayson, please email [email protected] and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Grayson's adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter; all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
