About Patsy

Patsy is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Patsy is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County). Patsy is a fun-loving corgi mix, perhaps with shepherd. She is about a year old and 35 lbs. Her favorite activities are playing tug and fetch, and she has definite sports potential. She loves other dogs and would do well with another energetic companion dog, but does not require one in her home. She does not do well with cats or small animals - her prey drive makes her an ideal candidate for sports like barn hunt and lure coursing. We also see potential for tracking, nosework and agility. While she does well with humans of all ages, she is too exuberant for young children. She loves to get attention from her people - belly ribs and snuggles are some of her favorite things. She walks nicely on leash. She is housebroken and crate trained. Patsy does have a fair amount of energy and exuberance and will need a home that sets boundaries and expectations. Patsy is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative.
