About Gracie

Gracie is a 5-6 year old pit bull mix. She was in an abusive home before I took her in 3 years ago. She is very skittish and takes a few days to warm up to people. She can be a very sweet girl, she loves to cuddle, run, swim, and always sleeps at my side. She is very hyper, she knows a few commands but has trouble executing them each time. She will need someone that has the time to continue to train and run her often. She has done well with my other pets up until recently. I think that she would be better in a home with out any other animals, she does get along with my male German Shepard mix and my mother's male Walker Tree Hound, but she does not get along with female dogs, small dogs or cats. She hasn't had any interaction with children since in my care, and I think that she should be best in a home without children. She has allergies and needs medication daily for it.
