About Rho

Rho is a handsome, 6-year old, athletic Rhodesian Ridgeback with a coat that shines like a polished penny. In typical Ridgeback fashion, Rho's attitude about life can sometimes be summed up as 'what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine.' Rho loves to chase after balls and retrieves them enthusiastically--but that enthusiasm can also make him possessive of his toys which means he is not an appropriate match for a home with children. Like many champions, once he has enjoyed a vigorous work out, Rho finds his Zen zone, goes belly down in the grass, and relishes a good rub down with some quiet, affectionate snuggles. Rho will do best with vigorous, intentional exercise as part of his daily routine; he responds like a real pro when positive leadership makes training fun.
