About Zena

All dogs are located in foster homes in Southern Arizona. Please contact Carrie to arrange meet and greets. Zena is scheduled for Photos next week and her spay on 6/5/2018. However, if you want a quick cell phone photo, let Carrie know and she will send one. Zena is a absolutely gorgeous 1 year old Australian Shepherd Mix. She was given up because she escaped from their yard. She did escape here, but now that she is comfortable and happy, she does not even try any longer. She climbs chain link, but a block wall should be able to hold her since she can't climb it. A perfect place would be with a family that is home during the day, she loves to be close to her people, although she is not needy and constantly seeking attention. She is happy to be in the same room. Zena is a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Just a gentle touch and a kind word will have her eating out of your hand instantly. Zena gets along well with other dogs, she is housebroken with nice house manners. She is a nice portable size of approximately 40 to 45 pounds.
