Maya didn't know what she was doing in the Kroger parking lot, but she was about to take the ride of her life! Thanks to a couple of independent rescuers, this former street pup is learning to live the sweet life with lots of belly rubs, soft beds, and best of all AIR CONDITIONING! Maya is a German Shepherd Mix who loves to be with her people and is learning how to get along with a bouncy hound puppy sister and two cats. She is very calm and quiet and simply wants to be by your side. She's unsure of new things and strangers - but who isn't?! So young children are not recommended. Just give her a little time and quiet encouragement and she's licking your face in no time! Maya is just the right size for a house or apartment and is ready to be your Netflix binge buddy! She is OK with cats, OK with dogs, OK with people. She is Spayed, UTD on vaccines, HW+, currently being treated for the heartworms though.
