About Flan

Per the Ventura County Animal Control Facebook post: 'Flan is active, fun, affectionate, house trained and relaxed indoors! The dictionary defines Flan as a pastry containing a sweet or savory filling. That's our girl Flan!! She is a fun doggie filled with unbelievable sweetness. Flan looks pretty ordinary in her kennel, but if you ask to meet her one-on-one, you will find her to be engaging and playful. She loves her toys, but she loves playing ball with you even more. Do you like to hike? Flan is a tireless hiker and will go over with you over hills, over dales and all the way to grandma's house if that is where you want to go. But, if you are in the mood to chill, Flan excels at that as well. She is a good girl while riding in a vehicle and her only flaw is she will sneak a kiss on your cheek every so often from the backseat. Flan has been rocking it in clicker training and is well on her way to graduating cum laude canine. She loves her treats, and as you an see, they don't affect her waistline one bit. She has learned to stay calm in her kennel and to sit until the handler gives her permission to go. Flan's adopter will simply need to spend a few minutes as infrequently as weekly to keep this training fresh in Flan's mind. Flan would love to meet you in person and dazzle with her charm and affection. She is waiting in kennel #56.'
