Shanna is looking for her forever home! She came to us as owner surrender. She had been through quite a bit; surviving a house fire, being threatened to be shot by neighbors because of her breed, and living outside 24/7. She is looking for a home where she will be loved, cared for, and be a part of the family! She is around 2yrs old and is a Pit bull mix. She weighs around 40lbs and is full grown.Shanna is shy when meeting new people, but does warm up once she knows she is safe. She is very leary of men. She lived with 2 children under the age of 5 and did well, but we are suggesting kids over the age of 10. Shanna loves to run and jump and play, and also enjoys being pet and loved on. She is housebroken with or without a dog door but does need a reminder on walking on a leash properly and isn't used to car rides. Shanna loves treats and to cuddle! \She just wants to be loved and part of the family inside where she can be near her people. She is good with both small and big dogs, but a dog intro is required. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with a free vet visit and 30 days of free insurance. Her adoption fee is $40. NO RENTALS with any breed or weight restrictions. Must have a yard that is fenced, 6ft high. Home check required. To meet her, come to the shelter at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021. Open tues-sun 11am to 6pm.
