About Susie

TRUE RESCUE. Found at roadside with mom and litter in Mississippi. Brought to Florida Rescue. I adopted Susie but I suddenly became ill 9/17. I REHOMED her. Then I received a call. Susie was found (5/18) LOST with my tags In another city while I was/am still in rehabilitation. I cannot care for her and have exhausted friend and family options. Obiously 2 homes have now failed. This wonderful dog deserves a forever home. PLEASE HELP. I cannot shelter her in a cage. Susie Is 2 1/2 years old. Sweetest dog I ever met. Extremely smart as is her (Mix) breed, Australian blue heeler or cattle dog. 28lbs, loves To run and play but will also sleep quietly on the couch. Lapdog. Susie is Very well and easily trained to voice and hand command. Susie Does not chew, bark, jump, lick face, beg, or whine. Cage and leash trained. Actually says 'out'. She wants to please you. Susie stood her ground as a puppy against a large coyote less than 15 feet away (stay) in our front yard, which howled and growled and Backed us up to our entrance. Then (run, run, run,) We both ran for the door. However, she would not be considered a protective dog due to her submissive nature. She is great with adults, children, dogs and cats. She tends to 'herd' small children But easily learns not to. Everyone Falls in love with her Good nature And is impressed by her manners. It breaks my heart to give her up. I would like to see her in a loving home. I will arrange transport for her within 200 miles to get her a good home. Call and please leave a message.
