About Avery

Avery is a 1.5 year old, 17 lb. Yorkie-mix. We do not know what he is a mix of, but he is a very handsome boy. He came from an animal hoarding situation, but despite all he's been thru, he's starting to trust people. Avery's up to date on his vetting and learning what being a pampered pooch is all about. He's great with other dogs. Avery has mastered steps for going outside to potty and when done, he runs right back to the door to be let back in. Avery is learning the basics since he did not learn in the environment he was in. It will take some time, and lots of love and patience, but he'll get there. Having another dog in the home would be beneficial to Avery, other dogs were his main source of companionship so as he learns to trust humans, a doggy companion would be very comforting. Avery will need a special home where he'll receive the love and reassurance needed to become a confident boy.
