About Rusty

OUR LONGEST RESIDENT!! ONE YEAR AND THREE MONTHS! Rusty was an owner surrender. His family kept their other dog, but surrendered him and he doesn't understand why. We don't either. He's PERFECT! He was heartworm positive when he came to us more than a year ago. He has since been treated and is now heartworm NEGATIVE! He is such a sweet boy who LOVES adventure! He enjoys running with our local running groups and going hiking with volunteers. He loves to explore and be active, but when he is in his kennel he is so calm and quiet. He doesn't do well with cats, but he gets along with other dogs and he adores kids! Rusty is a great dog and just needs someone to share adventures with!
