About Catfish Camry

Catfish Camry is a beautiful silver gray long hair female approx. 5yr. Her adoption fee is $75. She has been vet checked and spayed. She is good with other cats. Ok with older kids and has been around calm dogs but she would also be great without them. I spent 15 min in the house taking pictures and of course she was frightened but she didn't run. I would think a quieter and calm environment would be helpful in her adjusting process. Also loving and patient people because she is leaving everything she has ever known. Over the years an animal loving man saved many kitties that cruel people threw out like trash. They became his family and he was committed. Sadly, an unexpected event happened and he lost his house. He can't take all of his beloved pets/family members with him but is taking the 4 'with issues'. He didn't take the easy way out and dump his responsibility on the kill shelters. He made the effort. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! Camry has been with her dad since she was found as a tiny kitten up inside a Toyota Camry in a parking lot. She has lived in a quiet loving home with 10 other kitties. With her dad she is a cuddler, a very sweet lap cat. At night when dad lays down on the couch they all do 'dog pile' on daddy. She loves to have her soft silky coat brushed and to be petted. She will play with a ping pong ball by herself and she has a little toy mouse she likes to throw up into the air and carry around in her mouth. She jumps up on her dads lap and seeks out his company, pushing against his hand for dad to pet her. Camry's best friend is Sherlock (in the picture and also up for adoption). They are there for each other, comforting one another. They will race and chase thru the house and keep each other company when their people are away. They are a good match if you are looking to add two new family members. Again to all who are interested in her, this isn't going to happen overnight. She needs patience and time to get to know you, for you to win her over, but will be your best friend if you give her a chance. Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids. Dry foods that help maintain UTI health are Hills, Royal Canine and Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment!
