About Donny

Donny: **ADOPTION PENDING** -5 year old, back and rust, neutered male, cropped ears and docked tail, 11 inches & 6 lbs. Shots up-to-date, micro-chipped, rescued from shelter. Donny is a happy boy once he adjusts to his new surroundings. Donny would be a great dog in a female home. He is okay with my son now that he knows him, but with strange men he is shy. Donny is a laid back sweet boy who wants to be in your lap. Donny will hide if he thinks he is in trouble. Once you earn his trust he is a happy, friendly boy. Donny has been out and about in town with no problems until a man tries to pet him, then he will shy away. He has never tried to mouth, snap or bite, even when clipping nails or cleaning teeth. My vet thinks when he was intubated they damaged his vocal cords & trachea due to a horse bark & cough he has (mostly when he eats). My Vet also says he'll heal in time but to expect coughing (mostly at meal time) for awhile yet. He is healthy otherwise. Note: Donny is located in Oroville, CA and we will not fly this boy. In cabin with adopter is okay though.
