This beautiful tabby girl is waiting to find a perfect forever home. Kitty Kitty started off life as a stray/feral cat and when she was about 6 months old a kind lady took her in and gave her a home. Slowly, Kitty learned to trust her mom and was thankful to have a loving home. Kitty lived 'happily-ever-after' until her mom became ill and was no longer able to care for her. Over the last few weeks Kitty has had a lot of change and she'd really like to find a loving family that can take care of her for the rest of her life. Kitty Kitty is about 3 years old, and other than being overweight, she is in good health. Kitty has started on a diet and eventually needs someone who will play with her so that she can get more exercise, however, right now the most significant thing she needs is someone who she can trust. She is very shy and 'jumpy' and needs a quiet home with serene energy. Kitty has lived with other cats in the past but seems a bit uncomfortable around them. She will either do well as an only cat, or with a laid back male cat. Kitty is not a fan of dogs and is not comfortable with children. It is important that Kitty's new owner be an experienced cat-person that can read her body language and understand what she needs to flourish. Right now, Kitty is a bit confused by her want for attention and her lack of trust in new people. She asks for pets, gives head butts, and then gives love bites. She never stops purring, but it's clear that she hasn't quite found her groove yet. Please note that Kitty Kitty is currently being fostered in Cobble Hill. Potential adopters will need to be willing to meet with Kitty in her foster home.
