About Xena

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Xena is a pure German Shepperd female. I had her since6 months old when a family members dog had puppies. She is very friendly and energetic. She never got officially trained so sometimes pulls on the leash when walking. MY main problems with her are that she will soon be 5 and still manages to poop in the house when I am either at work or asleep at night despite being walked/let out in yard many times a day. She is good with kids and grew up with my 5 year old kids, and 10 and 4 year old nephews and good with my mom and dad (50 and 60). I love her a lot so it is hard for me to find an owner or organization that I think would be in her best interest. Why? Because I am afraid that the new owner might get tired of her and send her off to a shelter or mistreat her. MY wish is for an agency to get her, spay her, train her, vaccinate her and find a suitable home for her. I also leave town sometimes and I cannot be gone for more than 24 hours since I have no one to walk or feed her and cannot afford or trust a sitter/stranger in my house alone. I also cannot afford to keep her vaccinations and veterinary visits up to date. Please help Xena find a loving home with someone or a family that can afford the time and money to get her trained, and taken care of and loved like she deserves.
