About Cody

This little tiny guy is Cody. He is a 10 year old 8 pound Chihuahua mix. More than anything Cody wants people who can spend time with him. He loves to be held and carried around and is tiny enough to go almost anywhere with his people. He is house and crate trained. Cody came to us all the way from Texas with the volunteer pilots at Pilots N Paws. Cody was found tied to a telephone pole with a retractable leash wrapped around his back leg. The leg had to be amputated because the circulation had been cut off for too long. Cody also needed a dental and doesn't have very many teeth left. Cody has recovered from his surgery and is now ready to find a home. Cody would like a quiet home with a family that can be watchful and careful because he is so tiny. His forever home should not have large dogs, children, or dogs that could be too rough playing with him. Cody likes playing with dogs his size. He is a typical Chihuahua and loves soft blankets and dog beds to snuggle in. Because Cody is so tiny and only has 3 legs he can't do stairs so he needs a home without stairs or with people willing to carry him.
