About Skittles

Skittles is a 2 1/2 year old chihuahua mix who is looking for her perfect forever home. Skittles is definitely a cuddler & will want lots of snuggles. She can be fearful at times and will do best in a quiet and calm home environment. She is dog selective- good with calm dogs her size or smaller. She likes cats. Skittles pulls on leash but comfortable in the home, but can be a flight risk so she will need walked on a secure harness very carefully. She's terrified out of home but is calm in the car and good on walks. For most part she is potty trained, but will still need some training and patience in her home. She is vocal and alerts when she really has to go. She's a talker, she whines and barks but stops when corrected. She will still need patience and work with socializing. She is fearful of men and will prefer the women in the home. She seems uncomfortable around children, so she needs a home with only teenage children who understand when she needs space. She has reverse sneezes often and responds after a bit of reassurance. She would do well in a calm home where she can nap and cuddle and give kisses. She's not very playful but prefers the loving company of her siblings close by and being always on a lap. She has some separation anxiety and will do best in a home where shes not often left home alone. She weighs 13 pounds full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, vet checked, licensed, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $220.
