About Bella

YES! She really is stunning! Bella is a 3-4 year old beauty queen American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a family to love her forever. She weighs 53lbs but she's still pretty short, she's just thick. This cutie pie is so lovable and cuddly. Her coat is soft and shiny, and her face is squishy and so huggable. She is fully vetted including spay and microchip, and the vet says she's in great health. Bella does great in the house- she will go to the door when she wants out. Bella will cuddle and sleep with you in the bed and also likes the couch but will stay off if told. She understands 'no' and will listen to it MOST of the time, lol! Bella is very Friendly with everyone she meets. Barking is minimal (unless trying to get your attention, which is adorable). Even then she barks it is very light, cute bark! Bella loves Bananas and peanut butter, those are her favorite treats. She sits for treats and does great learning new things. She usually sits on commands. Bella enjoys getting baths and riding in the car, although depending on how tall your car is, she might need you to boost her up with her cute short legs. She's very good on leash. She loves to meet new people and sometimes gets happy and jumps up on you but jumps gently. Bella stays in her own room at her foster house while they are at work and she is not destructive. She does well with the other dogs at her foster home but that was with a slow and thoughtful introduction. Bella probably isn't a dog park dog, she's more of a loyal companion who wants to be at home with you or can go out on adventures with you, but not where other dogs are running up and getting in her face. We believe in proper introductions to set our dogs up for success. We'd love to find someone who knows and appreciates this breed, and is thoughtful about handling the breed and always setting Bella up for success! Must own your home because of breed restrictions. Bella is a QUEEN! She's strikingly beautiful and a true gentle love bug.
