About Diego

Diego is a one year old American Bulldog/Boxer mix and is a very well-mannered pup that just wants to be loved. He's currently being fostered by a Captain in the Army who's going to be deployed in August so we are searching for another foster or forever home for Diego, although the Captain loves him very much. If you enjoy running, this will be your go-to best friend because he does enjoy a good run every couple of days. Diego is very well behaved around small and large children as well with other dogs. He is a very gentle larger pup, very calm in the home/backyard, and doesn't chew on anything, such as furniture, etc. You can take him to the park and he will be friendly with anyone, people or other dogs, but he is a strong pup so initially you will have to hold him back. Diego isn't really too interested in toys, but he will want to give you a hug as soon as you open the door home whether or not you're gone for 5 hours or 5 seconds just walking out the door to take out the trash. Once he gets his 5 second hug, he will be good to go. Diego would be perfect for a single family household that will allow him to be an inside pet with a fenced-in back yard to let him have space to walk around and an owner that is able to take him for runs. Once he gets his run in, he will be your best friend and the happiest pup ever.
