About Rex

Rex is a beautiful black and tan German Shepherd who weighs approximately 78 lbs. He is between 6-8 yrs old. He is cautious when he first meets you, but warms up quickly. He absolutely loves to play soccer - and is really good. Also plays fetch with a tennis ball. He is good with children and rides well in a car. He knows some commands and does pretty well on a leash, but does not like to be confined in small places. He can even help rake leaves or any grass you have laying around. His foster mom has taken him on different outings and he has behaved well. This sweet boy was found as a stray and was severely underweight. He is being treated for heartworm and has an open sore on his back left foot that will need to be treated daily till it heals. Rex has not been neutered due to heartworm treatment taking precedence. He has been vetted and is also microchipped. Does well in a car, likes to fetch, likes toys, protective/territorial, obedient, playful, affectionate, intelligent! He would make a wonderful family pet!
