He has built his world around the one person he loves, and that person thoroughly betrayed him and dumped him at the shelter stating that the reason they were abandoning him was that he was 'too big.' We can't make this up. Why would anyone adopt a #GermanShepherd knowing how big that breed gets, and then turn around and basically sentence them to death for growing up? But that is what has happened, and now this 2 year old needs a new family who understand his noble and loyal breed. Gucci has a sterling resume - housetrained, well behaved home alone, doesn't mind baths, and he knows a number of commands. What he needs is some training and socialization so that he can be become all that he can be and most importantly, a good #canine citizen. If you are an EXPERIENCED #foster or #adopter in an adult only home, please hurry for #fostering or #adopting Gucci. He's done nothing wrong, but his parent, on the other hand, is a complete loser. At this time there are no medical concerns that need to be addressed with a Gucci. INTAKE NOTES - 5/19/2018: During intake Ducci was hard barking and lunging at the staff. No handling was done. OWNER SURRENDER REASON - BASIC INFORMATION: Ducci is a large brown and black male dog who was surrendered by his owner due to the fact he can no longer care for him.
