Buddy is a big baby. He is very smart, energetic, and loving. He is house broken and knows basic commands. Buddy hasn't had the proper training since he was adopted after being thrown out of a truck window and left on the side of the road by an unknown driver. My parents took him in but they cannot, however, keep him. I currently have him but I too cannot keep him due to my work schedule and traveling. Buddy needs someone(s) who has time to give him and is knowledgeable in training dogs. He has possession aggression that I've been working on and has been very sheltered in terms of the types of people and animals he has seen (my parents live on 3 acres in the country). With that said, he doesn't do well with other animals, partly because he has never played with them and doesn't know how to handle them. Kids are fine, as long as they don't mess with him while he is eating. He doesn't like older men either (probably because he was abused by one, aka the truck driver). He is honestly such a loving dog and will do anything for his owners. He learns very quickly with boundaries, new skills, and new environments. If interested in taking Buddy, we will discuss a neutering plan for him as well as he is considered 'high risk' for his age. Again, my parents weren't aware of the risks when they adopted him or they would have done it sooner. Any questions, please contact me. We can schedule a time and place to meet this guy as well to see if he'd be a good fit for you!
