If interested in meeting Jack, contact: [email protected] Jack is a beautiful shepherd mix that were rescued with his littermate from the Caribbean during Hurricane Irma. The two were found as puppies in terrible shape, suffering from mange and neglect . With help from the local humane society, these two were taken in by a foster who nursed them back to health. With no hope for rescue in the Caribbean, their foster ended up bringing them to the US...but sadly, they can no longer care for them. In 2 WEEKS, they are moving into a smaller place that doesn't allow big dogs, so they are now urgently in need of a loving home (either separate or together!) Jack is just about 1.5 years old, house trained, and very affectionate. He has lots of energy and love to play, so they would do best in a home that can hike them or give them walks. They weigh approx 50 lbs, walk well on leash, and know their basic commands. They are both spay/neutered and up to date with vaccines.
