About Freckles

Adoption Fee: $300
Australian Cattle Dog / Lab
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Freckles is a sweet and well-trained, sprightly, nine-year-old, chubby 55-pound female Cattle Dog-mix looking for a loving guardian. She may take a day to settle in to a new home, but once she does, she's so sweet and affectionate. She burrows her head against your body for a snuggle session, and head butts you. Freckles is also perfectly housebroken. Sometimes her foster dad can't get home for 10 or 12 hours and she patiently waits to go outside and relieve herself. Freckles enjoys her walks but takes it slow stopping to sniff everything along her way. She has been fine with other dogs, but we have never seen her with a cat. She has been great while visiting outdoor cafes with her foster dad. After a minute, she lays down and is very well-behaved. Freckles loves her treats and waits to eat until she gets your permission. She sleeps on her own bed in the living room and never gets up on furniture. Freckles is a healthy senior, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. She has some innocent lumps and bumps associated with aging and a little bit of arthritis. But, she gets around just fine and even breaks out in a run from time to time. Her adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued dogs of Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Freckles, please fill out the adoption application at http://form.jotform.com/form/90863010193 and follow up by contacting [email protected] Freckles is being fostered in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood.
