About Lucy2

Adoption Fee: $100
Collie / Shetland Sheepdog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

'Totally terrified' was both the comment and observation of numerous staff and volunteer who sought to console and reassure this smallish girl. Lucy was passed around among family members with no one willing to keep and provide the security Lucy so desperately needed. So scared of the kennel environment that when taken outside to potty and stretch her legs, that she had to be carried back. With the long nose of a collie, the coloring of a German Shepherd and the smallish build of an elongated terrier, her breed mixture is a mystery. She is greatly relieved to have companionship and will offer a paw of friendship to those who will sit with her or take her away from the kennels so she can exhale from the stress. Lucy2 (we have 3 Lucys who recognize their name) is 5 years old. She is spayed and fully vetted. She arrived May 12, 2018. Her adoption fee is $100. Questions about Lucy2 can be answered by calling the office at 706-865-4135. Upon receipt of application, our adoptions coordinator will contact the applicant to answer all questions and discuss needs/requirements specific to the desired dog. Each shelter resident is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own family members.
